Erm ! ! I have not been blogging for a little while. Erm .. Haha. Oh ! ! It was Francis's birthday last month on the 25th of October.

" Happy Birthday To My Dearest Bestie ! ! " This is the present which our friends had bought for Francis. Hope that you like it. =D

Oh ! ! Fazli , Shao Hui and myself watched the movie " 2012 " today. It is a really good movie.

Movie Plot

Over the decades, many have prophesised that the world will end when the ancient Mayan calendar ceases on 21 December 2012. But before that occurs, the human race is bound to face natural disasters such as massive volcano eruptions, typhoons and other natural calamities. An academic researcher opens a portal into a parallel universe and makes contact with his double in order to prevent an apocalypse predicted by the ancient Mayans.

The movie made me felt sad. There are earthquakes, volcano eruptions and tsunamis happening all over the world when the time approaches 21st December, 2012 , in the movie. It is just a few days before Christmas. Imagine everything in this world falls apart and sinks down into the earth's crust. All that is left is almost nothing. With people dying everywhere, forests and cities are taken over by tsunamis and totally covered with water. There is almost no chance for survival. That will be one of the saddest thing ever. However, no one is sure what will happen in 2012. I believe that there is no scientific evidence that supports that the end of the world would fall on 21st December, 2012 . No matter what, everyone should cherish everything around them.

Today , my Mother and I went to the Gleneagles Medical Centre in the quite early morning. She had made an appointment with a Otorhinolaryngology Doctor. The Doctor did a check for my Mother and took tissue samples for lab test I think. The test results will only be out on next Tuesday or Wednesday which is on the 6Th or 7Th of October. I am really worried and afraid. I pray hard that nothing will go wrong. May All Be Fine.

Eh , I watched ' Phobia 2 ' with Francis and Yam. Erm , it was a pity that Kim , Michelle , Sze Yong and Zoe is not able to join. Hm , I heard that Kim had work and Michelle had to attend a wedding. Eh , I think that it was quite a good movie. Haha. There are a total of 5 different stories. The last story is extremely good. Haha. I think that it is a must - watch movie.

Finally the Basic Military Training (BMT) is over ! ! The entire BMT period was quite fun. I got to learn new things and make new friends. Hm , it was a total new and different kind of experience. Erm , I had just resigned from DFS. Hm , I had learnt many many things from this great working environment. DFS has provided me with opportunities to learn and I have benefited a lot from working at this place. I have learnt much more about customer service , a better understanding of product knowledge from different brands and learning new languages. I hate to leave this place because I have always enjoyed my work very much. I hope that I can come back to this wonderful place to work again.

Ah Hah ! ! I am back from chalet with Deborah , Francis , Sze Yong , Sally and Ri Wei ! ! Haha . It is always nice and great to book a chalet and spend time together with friends. To be able to barbecue , eat , smile and laugh together is always one of the best things that can happen. Especially during the chalet there are times when we do funny things together and laughing out loud. Haha. It is fun and very enjoyable to have a chalet with you guys ! ! Erm , I missed the date. It should be the first of May 2009 which is erm Youth Day ! I went hiking with Sze Yong and his girlfriend , Jia Jia , Zoe , Dawn and her boyfriend. The hike was from Henderson Waves to Faber Point. Eh .. Before the hike , Jia Jia , Zoe and I had a meal at Sushi Tei before we do meet the others. Jia Jia is very kind as she had paid for the meal. I had helped Jia Jia on a favour and she said she would treat us to a meal ehh. She really did spend the effort to keep her promise. Eh .. I told Jia Jia erm there would not be a next time for her to treat us to a meal. =)

I had to rush back to my work place to return the keys which I had forgotten to return. Grace had to wait for me while I rushed back to return the keys. I am so forgetful and I am sure I had caused a lot of troubles for my colleagues and superiors. Oh No ! ! Erm , luckily we were in time for the movie. Phew. I ought to be more careful in the future.

I watched the movie , ' Friday The 13th ' with Grace and I was extremely late. I kept Grace waiting for a long time. I am so sorry about it. Erm .. I think that the movie is exciting and erm gruesome. The movie never had a boring part at all. However , the gruesome scenes will keep you very awake during the movie. Erm .. Haha.

Eh ! Last week , I went to the Singapore Zoo with Grace on the Good Friday. Hm , the Zoo was crowded with people. It has been a long time since I last came to the Zoo. Haha.

Fossil Gathering on the 4th of April 2009 ! ! Everyone celebrated Zoe and Zhi Zhong's birthday too ! Happy Birthday ! ! It was fun to be with my ex colleagues again. Yam never fails to make everyone laugh. Haha.

Even though I had stopped working at Fossil for almost erm 10 months , I do still keep in contact with many of my ex colleagues. People like Yam , Lynn and Michelle are great listeners. They always offer the best advice and are always there. Thanks for being there. =)

I am looking forward to the Fossil gathering on the 4Th of April 2009 which is this coming Saturday. Many of my ex-colleagues from Fossil will be going for the gathering. Hm , I used to be part of the Fossil company and I am glad to be part of it. I learnt many things at Fossil and I got to know quite a few good friends. People like Yam , Michelle , Lynn and Kim are people whom I knew. I do feel very fortunate to be able to have them as my friends. =)

Hm . Recently , Yam's Grandmother had just passed away. I do know that Yam would not be feeling fine. I think that one of the toughest things in life is to witness and to experience the pain of losing your love one. It is not easy. Sometimes , the pain may just be so unbearable that one can feel the entire world is tumbling down and that you seem to be always gasping for more oxygen. The thought of not being able to see your love one again is indeed most devastating. Even though it may be the part and parcel of life for everyone to eventually depart from this world. I think that it may be too much to take. Hm , maybe the only thing to do is to always remember the values and the memories of our love ones whom had passed away.

" Yam , do not be sad. I am sure your Grandmother is at a better place now. I am also sure she will always be watching over you no matter what you do. I do hope that you will feel better. Part Time - Nokia , Comes With Music

I am a part timer from Nokia eh. Haha. Eh , Michelle Cheng whom was my previous superior had introduced me a part time job for two weeks at Nokia M1 Shop. Yeah. I am happy. Thank you Michelle. =)

Eh, I went for the training before I started work. The training was a little boring but it was quite interesting. I learnt things about the Nokia , Comes With Music package. Hm , when one purchase a Comes With Music Handset , millions of songs can be downloaded from the Nokia Music Store for 12 straight months. All kinds of music is available for download and one great thing is that there is no subscription fee for Comes With Music. In addition , one can download an entire album in just ten minutes ! Quite awesome eh. Haha.

I met Kenny in the morning and we went for K Box. Erm , K Lunch ! Haha.
Kenny wanted to bake a cake for a friend's birthday. He went to purchase all the necessities and ingredients needed to bake a cake after K Lunch.

Kenny and I met Isabell and Joy , we wanted to do our Microsoft Front Page Project together over at Kenny's place. However , we ended up helping Kenny to bake the cake. It was quite fun erm even though I did not do much to help.

Bestie - Deborah =)

My Bestie , Deborah had just ended her holidays. She is now and studying at Perth and she had took the plane back to Australia last Saturday which is on the 14Th of February. Francis , Sze Yong , Wan Ting , Ziqi and me went to the airport early in the morning to send her off.

Deborah came back to Singapore for her holidays during the last November. While she was back in Singapore , I do enjoy having her around very much. Especially when Francis , Deborah and me are together , we tend to laugh a little too much at times. Haha. Nothing beats having your Besties around you.

We go out together , eat together and laugh together. We talk to each other almost every night on the msn and make plans to go out with each other. Most importantly , my Besties are always there when I do start talking things that are out of this world. Haha. That actually means when I do start to talk nonsense. =)

There are many people that we meet in our lives but only a very few will make a lasting impression on our minds and hearts. Everyone make mistakes and real friends are the only ones whom rectify your mistakes and help you to improve yourself. Friends are people who like us in spite of our faults and who listen to us and tell us the truth. Friends support our decisions and tell us when we are foolish. They laugh with us and share our pain and grief. It may be true that one can choose their own friends. I am glad that I have Deborah and Francis.

The hardest part of any friendship is when it is time to say good-bye. As much as we might like things to stay the same, change is an inevitable part in life. Though I may not see Deborah as often , I am quite certain that when she is back in Singapore the next time , we are going to start talking and laughing together.

I am not able to see Deborah as often now , I know I am going to miss her very much. I will look forward to the next time when Deborah comes back to Singapore. By then , Deborah , Francis and me can laugh out loud together as one again. True friends always hold on tight to each other.

Erm , I missed the date. I went for a school trip to Desaru over at Malaysia with my classmates on the 13Th of February. We had a great time. =)

My classmates and I were told to reach the school before 0630am. Yawn.

There is one Agricultural Gallery at the Fruit Farm. Agricultural Gallery houses some of the old artifacts from the agriculture field and visitors can collect information from this gallery and know more about the medical value of the tropical fruits.

On the 9th was the first day of the chalet. Ziqi drove Deborah, Francis and me to the DownTown East Chalet ! How kind eh ! Oh , Sally and her boyfriend met us over at the chalet instead. Haha.

I watched ' Twilight ' with Deborah , Francis and also with my ex - secondary school classmates. The movie is great.

My family and I went over to visit my Grandmother's place at Malaysia. My Grandmother stays at Muar. The journey to Muar was rather long. It took almost three hours. Haha.

My senior whom i known from work , Linza told me that her dog had passed away. When a dog passed away , it is just like losing a family member. A dog will always stands by man in prosperity and in poverty, in health and in sickness. When all other friends desert , he remains. If misfortune drives the master forth an outcast in the world , friendless and homeless , the faithful dog asks no higher privilege than that of accompanying him to guard against danger, to fight against his enemies. He will kiss the hand that has no food to offer , guards the sleep of his pauper master as if he were a prince. A dog is always a man's best friend. I hope that Linza's dog is now at a better place.

I watched a movie with Yam at Golden Village. A team of local TV reporters are following a squad of firemen on night duty. The footage is completely live and their task is to make show about on the life of these professionals who work while we are sleeping. The first job of the night is to rescue an old lady who is trapped inside her apartment but the routine rescue soon takes a sinister turn. Something evil is spreading throughout the building, out of control. Trapped inside, the firemen and the TV crew have to confront an unknown and lethal horror. There is a virus which turns people into aggressive and flesh eating humans. The virus is able to spread through saliva and when one is biten by another one whom is infected. Now, the only thing that matters is hiding, surviving and trying desperately to escape. They must keep on recording. No matter what happens. Until the very last moment.

I think that it is a good movie. It is different from the usual movies.

Five stars.

A sunny afternoon , I was together with my aunt and my two younger cousins. My aunt had decided to change a new car and all of us went over to a Honda showroom. The location of the showroom is at a place which I do not know. Haha.

We had our dinner together with our ex-colleagues from Fossil over at Sakae Sushi. Eating sushi is healthy and also they are very good food. Haha. Kim , Zoe , John and I have got a muffler from Celine for Yam. Hope she likes it and also to use it often. ( ^0^)

Eh , first thing in the morning , I was twenty minutes late for the Dfs informal presentation. Late !

Argh !

School ended early. Good thing ehh. Haha. I had a sushi buffet over at Suki Sushi with Kenny and Joy after being dismissed from school. I think I ate quite alot. Haha.

The Suki Sushi had a change of their menu. This is the buffet menu now.

This is my favourite Chawanmushi. A very good appetizer to start with. I happily ate two before leaving.

This is the miso soup. Hm , I remembered that in the past it is served in a small bowl for one person serving. The one above is enough for two or three people to consume. It is quite like a mini steamboat. Haha.

They were to carry handbags and messenger bags of different brands and to do a walk. Guests were invited and it was rather crowded. There were lucky draw for the Guests too. Seems like fun for the guests. Haha. I cannot really take any pictures of the walk as I was on duty. The big boss is around during the walk if i am not wrong. Haha. Oh , the Burberry boutique had changed their visual display for the event. The display artists light up candles in the store. The visual display - GREAT.

Today is a happy day ! Finally , I can have the watch which I had desired for.

I went to the Cortina Watch shop over at Raffles City Shopping Centre with my Mother in the afternoon. The shop itself is spacious and there are many watch brands on display too. Hm , I had been thinking and thinking over the same thing even before going over to the Cortina Watch shop.

" Erm , which one arh ? " I had thought about it repeatedly for umpteen times. I had also asked for my Mother's opinions for many times too.
I had my eyes on the Oyster Perpetual Submariner from Rolex for quite a while. There are a few Submariner models to choose from. I had a difficult time trying to decide which one.

Here are the few designs which I had fallen for.

This is the Oyster Perpetual Submariner without the date. Rolex started development on the Submariner in 1952 , and the first model was introduced in 1953. The clean dial of this watch has a simple yet really attractive look.

Here is the Oyster Perpetual Submariner with the date. It is more convenient for most people when there is a date function. The first Submariner with a date complication was launched in 1969, along with the first gold model. With the date , the watch seems to look smarter.

In 2003, Rolex released the 50-year commemorative model with a unique green bezel and a redesigned dial. The indices of this watch are slightly bigger as compared to the ones above. The green colour is actually a representative colour from Rolex according to the customer relations associate. It is more unique and more outstanding which makes it more desirable too.

Erm , I had a difficult time trying to decide which one to get. I asked myself the same thing again at the watch shop.

" Hm , which one arh ? " Haha.

My Mother said that the watch with the green bezel has a nicer look. Hm , I find that there is no doubt that the Submariner with the black bezel is of a neutral colour and also easier to match one's outfit. In addition , the black bezel is the classic and it is a traditional Submariner model. With the date , it makes the watch more iconic too. However , the green bezel has an exceptional look which makes it very appealing and it is definitely eye-catching. This is tough ehh.
